(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi, and leaders of a number of ministries and central agencies inspected the progress of 3 key national projects in Hanoi: the Nhat Tan bridge, the road connecting Nhat Tan with Noi Bai International Airport, and Passenger Terminal 2.

These projects are being built using Japanese ODA and Vietnam’s counterpart fund. Prime Minister Dung said these projects are evidence of Vietnam’s strategic breakthrough in building modern infrastructure to boost socio-economic development. He asked the Ministry of Transport to finish building welfare facilities for people in project areas and make sure those projects are completed on time. He also called for financial preparation for the expansion of Noi Bai International Airport after 2020 to boost the aviation, services, and tourism sectors while ensuring aviation safety and security.
