(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said Vietnam and Kuwait will upgrade bilateral relations during his ongoing visit to the Middle Eastern country.

Mr. Chinh made the remarks during a meeting with staff of Vietnamese representative offices and the Vietnamese community in Kuwait on Sunday evening. He affirmed that the Government encourages carriers to open direct flight routes to the Middle East.
“We have promulgated a series of policies that create conditions for the overseas Vietnamese community, which is an indispensable part of the Vietnamese nation,” said the Government leader.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife also presented gifts to the Vietnamese community in Kuwait.
