Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc meet Vietnamese living in Russia |
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Moscow on the afternoon of May 19 for Sochi to attend a Commemorative Summit to mark the 20th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia dialogue relations. After arriving in Sochi, he met with the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Indonesian President.
The Commemorative Summit on May 19 and 20 takes place amid positive developments in relations between the two sides. It is expected to increase ASEAN's role in Russia's policy on Southeast Asia.
Before leaving Moscow, the Vietnamese delegation laid a wreath and planted a tree at President Ho Chi Minh’s statue in Moscow to mark his 126th birthday (May 19).
