(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on the Military Zone 5 High Command to leverage the strength of the people and the political system to strengthen Vietnam’s defense capacity. During a working visit to the High Command in Da Nang city on Sunday, Mr. Phuc said officers and soldiers of Military Zone 5, a strategic location, should be vigilant and forge closer ties with the people.

Earlier, the Prime Minister lit incense to pay tribute to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Thu in Dien Ban district, Quang Nam province, and  visited two other heroic mothers: 92-year-old Le Thi Tri, who is Thu’s daughter, and 103-year-old Nguyen Thi Han.
