Prime Minister pays tribute to young female volunteers
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc acknowledged the sacrifices and contributions of heroic martyrs, war veterans, heroic mothers, heroes of the armed forces, and soldiers who have courageously fought for national liberation.

The Prime Minister made the statement at an art program on Sunday in Ha Tinh province to mark the 49th anniversary of Dong Loc T-junction victory and the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
Later on the Prime Minister paid incense tribute to national young volunteer martyrs at a memorial house and at the grave of 10 young female heroic martyrs who laid down their lives in Dong Loc T-junction during the anti-US war of resistance. The area is of historical significance as it used to be an artery for transport of food, weapons, and ammunition from North to South.
