Prime Minister says investment in culture will boost development

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called for innovation and investment in culture as a driving force for development.

Addressing a working session with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hanoi on Wednesday, the Prime Minister asked for a strategy to mobilize resources for cultural development with priorities in arts, cultural industry, entertainment  based on tradition and culture to promote national competitiveness and achievement of  Industry 4.0.

Sharing with the tourism sector's suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister asked the sector to work with the government in best adaptation to the pandemic to maintain business operation by following the Health Ministry’s 5Ks plus vaccine strategy.  

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health has officially announced a 5Ks (in Vietnamese) message to help citizens get used to living safely with the pandemic in a new normal. 5K means "Khau trang" (face mask) - "Khu khuan" (disinfection) - "Khoang cach" (distance) - "Khong tu tap" (no gathering) - "Khai bao y te" (health declaration).
