Project on expanding Thong Nhat hospital launched

(VOVworld)- A project to expand Thong Nhat hospital in Ho Chi Minh city was launched on Sunday. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended the launching ceremony. In his address, the Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Health to provide Thong Nhat hospital with more modern equipment and facility. He urged the hospital leaders to find ways to attract more talented doctors and focus more on improving the professionalism of the hospital’s staff. Founded 40 years ago, Thong Nhat hospital now has 400 beds and more than 1,200 staff. It has acquired more modern medical treatment technologies to fulfill its tasks of providing health care for Party and State officials.
