At Friday’s meeting in Hue city to review the 3-year implementation of a project on mobilizing young volunteers to help rural and mountainous areas from 2013 to 2020, Vu Dang Minh, head of Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Interior, said: “The project was successful as 500 young volunteers did a good job, contributing to local socio-economic development and building new-style rural areas. Joining this project, many Youth Union members have been admitted to the Party. They gave advice to the local authorities and proved to be competent.”
