Vu Trong Kim, the Front’s Vice President, said that following this meeting, seminars will be convened to give people from every walk an opportunity to contribute their views. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a lecturer at Phu Yen University says that the movement has won great support from the public. She added ‘The collection of public recommendations for the draft revisions to the 1992 Constitution has reflected the people’s ownership rights and tapped public brainpower. All citizens have the rights of freedom of speech and freedom to express their views when the state organizes a public poll.

Nguyen Duc Dung, a member of the Quang Tri People’s Committee, told VOV he’s most interested in the development of local administration in the draft revision. He said ‘We pay attention to how local administrations are structured to ensure that state power is coordinated and controlled among agencies in the national legislative, executive, and judicial systems. Secondly, we’re concerned about how to make full use of people’s power and intellect through the legal system.
