The statement said there was no change in policy toward the nationals of “brotherly and friendly countries which cut or reduced diplomatic relations following the malicious and hostile campaigns against Qatar”.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt broke off relations with Qatar, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and interfering in internal affairs of other countries in the region. Yemen, Maldives, and Mauritania also cut ties with Doha to support the decision. The diplomatic crisis continued to escalate after Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, and Bahrain blacklisted 59 individuals and 12 entities they say are linked to Qatar over terrorism. 3 Gulf states have given Qataris 2 weeks to leave their countries.
