RoK ready to negotiate with North Korea without preconditions
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea is willing to enter talks with North Korea over issues of concern without preconditions in a hope to improve inter-Korean ties.

In a statement released on Friday, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon voiced hope for North Korea's participation in the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics, saying that it will be a "good" occasion for the North if it seeks negotiations.
He said Seoul is willing to have discussions with Pyongyang over issues of concern in an open-minded manner and without conditions, adding that South Korea will make efforts to restore strained inter-Korean relations and make better attempts to help resolve North Korea's nuclear situation.
