Despite winning a high number of seats, PAP's vote this year only reached 61.24%, a significant decrease compared to 69.9% in 2015.

PAP once again lost a Group Representation Constituency (GRC) to the WP at Sengkang GRC, similar to what happened at Aljunied GRC in 2011.

According to the Singapore Election Agency, this year's general election attracted more than 2.5 million voters, accounting for 95.63% of the total registered voters.
