Russia, Israel discuss military ties, Middle East

(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talked by telephone to discuss bilateral cooperation issues, including military contacts, and the situation in the Middle East, the Kremlin press service reported on Sunday.

After meeting the Israeli PM in Moscow on February 27, Putin said that a working group involving Russia, Israel, and several other countries could deal with normalizing the situation in Syria after terrorism in Syria is fully defeated.
