(VOVworld) – Russia supplied nearly one-third of Europe’s gas in 2016 despite tensions with the EU.

Russia’s Petroleum Corporation Gazprom reported that its share of gas in Europe grew steadily. The company estimated it supplied a record 31 percent of European gas supplies in 2015. It was on track this year to reach a new high for gas exports.
