Sai Gon Port welcomes two international cruises

(VOV) – The Seabourn Pride with 200 passengers on board and Aegea Pdyssey with 300 passengers mostly from the Europe and the US docked at Sai Gon port on Monday. During their two-day stay, passengers visit the War Remnants Museum, Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City’s Post Office, Cu Chi tunnel, and Nguyen Hue Flower Street. Betty Welner, from Florida, the US, says: "I’m very happy to visit Vietnam on the first day of the New Year. I wish all of you a happy and meaningful New Year. Vietnamese people are beautiful and friendly."

Phan Ai Ngai, Deputy Director of the Passenger Ship Port of the Sai Gon port, says: "The Port offers passengers good services to visit Ho Chi Minh city. I hope an increasing number of visitors will come to Ho Chi Minh city which benefits themselves and the city."
Last year, Sai Gon port received 50 cruises  with 30,000 foreign passengers. The number of cruises and tourists docking at Sai Gon port this year is expected to increase 10%.
