Security beefed up in New Delhi following threat call to Radisson hotel

(VOVworld) – Security was beefed up in New Delhi, India, after the five-star Radisson hotel received a call which warned of terror strikes in the city.

Indian security forces had already tightened security in many cities after receiving intelligence about a potential strike by 10 suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba militants who may have entered India by sea. Indian security forces issued terrorism alerts in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
