(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico organized a 2-day seminar on Wednesday and Thursday, featuring bilateral relations and Vietnam’s cuisine as part of the on-going Vietnam Week in Mexico. Addressing the event, Ambassador Le Linh Lan reiterated Vietnam’s independent and open foreign policy and potential to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in economics, between Vietnam and Mexico and between ASEAN and the Asia Pacific Alliance (comprised of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile). She stressed Vietnam’s determination to boost bilateral ties by realizing the two countries’ cooperative potential. Vietnam Week opened in Mexico on Tuesday to mark the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Mexico and tighten their traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation.
