Quang said the Vietnam-Japan relationship has developed and expanded since the two nations established diplomatic ties more than 40 years ago. Japan has become Vietnam’s important strategic partner.
The two countries’ leaders have conducted reciprocal visits to build political trust and promote connectivity and cooperation in economics and other fields. Iijima vowed to do more to lift Japan-Vietnam relations to a new height and deepen the two countries’ strategic partnership.
