(VOVworld) – Pakistan accused India Monday of firing into the Nakyal area across the Line of Control (LoC), killing 4 people and injuring 6 others.

The incident occurred Monday morning near the border dividing Indian-held Kashmir from Pakistan’s Punjab province, Pakistani officials said. This latest attack in Kashmir has further escalated tensions between the two neighbors. A Pakistani raid on an Indian army base in September killed 19 Indian soldiers. New Delhi blamed Jaish-e-Muhammad rebels in Pakistan for the bloody attack, but Islamabad immediately denied the charge.
