(VOVworld) – A seminar took place in Da Nang city from September 25-26 to discuss the involvement of social organizations in Vietnam’s legislative process.
The event, organized by Vietnam’s National Assembly Office and the Konrad Adenauer Stifung (KAS) Institute of Germany, presented current legal frameworks which have the participation of social organizations in the law-making process and the requirements for legislative activities.
The participants also discussed the role of social organizations in Vietnam’s law-making process, the development of social organizations, and experience in the involvement of social organizations in the law-making process and law enforcement supervision.  The seminar included the participation of representatives from the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s organizations and the Union of Science and Technology Associations, National Assembly deputies from the central provinces, and legal experts.
