(VOVworld) – Vietnamese ambassador to the Solomon Islands Luong Thanh Nghi has presented his credentials in the capital Honiara.

Governor Frank Utu Ofagioro Kabui and senior officials of the Solomon Islands expressed their country’s wish to increase cooperation with Vietnam in trade, investment, and economics. Ambassador Nghi paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare, Parliamentary speaker Ajilion Nasiu and met with a number of ministers. He said that Vietnam valued its friendship and cooperation with south Pacific countries including Solomon Islands.
