South Korean press hails Vietnam’s U22 football squad
(VOVWORLD) - South Korean media has applauded the victories of Vietnam’s U22 football squad at the ongoing 30th SEA Games in the Philippines. The Vietnamese team, coached by Park Hang-seo, secured an emphatic 6-0 victory against Brunei and a 6-1 victory against Laos.

The two matches were broadcast live on South Korea’s SBS and SportTV. The Chosun newspaper called Vietnam’s footballers “the golden star warriors”, while Mksports described Coach Park’s tactics as magical for boosting Vietnam to the 94th spot in the FIFA world rankings for the 2nd time in 15 years.
