South Korea's national security adviser arrives in US for Korean peninsula talks

(VOVWORLD) - South Korea's national security adviser Suh Hoon arrived in the United States on Wednesday for talks with his US and Japanese counterparts about denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.

According to Yonhap News, Suh arrived in New York and will travel to the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, for the three-way security dialogue on Friday.

The talks follow visits to Seoul and Tokyo in March by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who said that coordinating the new US approach with key US allies like South Korea and Japan is an important part of the policy review process.
