Speaking in the event on Wednesday, Chairman of Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors, Dang Van Thanh hailed the role played by auditors in prevention of corruption and public asset mismanagement.

“The State Audit should focus on the prevention and mitigation of corruption through its performance and policy making. Then we can prevent and control misconducts and violation of state and people’s interests,” Thanh said.
