Steering committee launched to realize Vietnam’s COP26 commitments
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Transport has promulgated a decision establishing a steering committee to realize the commitments Vietnam made at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).

The committee, led by Minister Nguyen Van The, will help the Minister of Transport coordinate the development and implementation of Ministry programs and action plans to realize Vietnam's COP26 commitments, green energy transformation activities, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The steering committee will also help the Minister direct the review and completion of mechanisms, policies, laws, strategies, and planning, promote digital transformation, take advantage of financial and technological support opportunities, and attract infrastructure investment to adapt to climate change.
