Steering Committee on improving National Assembly's oversight meets
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the Steering Committee for developing the project "Continuing to reform and improve the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's oversight activities."

Chairman Hue said the reform of oversight activities encompasses two elements: reform of legal regulations and reform of the implementation method. He urged for careful review and assessment of legal provisions related to the oversight activities of the National Assembly, Standing Committee, Ethnic Council, Committees, the National Assembly's delegation, and deputies.
The project steering committee needs to thoroughly summarize recommendations and proposals on fine-tuning the law, amending and supplementing provisions in the law and resolutions and organizing, managing, and operating oversight activities, he said.
