Themed “Proud of Vietnam’s sea and islands”, the camp is a place for young Vietnamese expatriates to meet and exchange views.

The youth will visit and present gifts to disadvantaged children and learn to cook Vietnamese dishes.

Leung Ylang, an overseas Vietnamese from Cambodia, told VOV: “This is the third time I have participated in the summer camp. I’m very happy to meet old and new friends, gain experience, and visit my hometown.”

The youths will also visit Nha Trang city and have an exchange with local soldiers.
