Mr. Norlen told visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Stockholm on Tuesday that the agreements serve the interests of all parties involved and will generate a strong impetus for economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and the EU.

Prime Minister Phuc proposed the establishment of a Vietnam-Sweden friendship parliamentarians group. He asked the Swedish parliament to continue creating favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the country to settle down and integrate into the host society while preserving their national cultural identity, thus contributing to friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations.

Mr. Phuc left Stockholm the same day, concluding his official visit to Sweden.
