(VOVworld) – At least 10 rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel after Hamas and Israel failed to extend the 72-hour ceasefire that expired on Friday.

In another development, two senior officials from Palestine’s Hamas movement said that the organization would not extend the 72-hour ceasefire in the Gaza strip and accused Israel of ignoring their demands for a ceasefire agreement. Meanwhile, a leader from the Jihad Muslim movement in Gaza also joined the ceasefire agreement mediated by Egypt.

Earlier, a member of a Palestinian groups of negotiators in Egypt said that they were still taking into consideration the ceasefire agreement with Israel, as Tel Aviv denounced that rockets fired from Gaza targeted at the country.
