Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2025 attracts 200,000 visitors

(VOVWORLD) - Nearly 200,000 visitors and more than 5,000 artists and craftsmen attended the Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2025, which concluded on Sunday in Hanoi.

The two-week celebration brought Vietnam's cultural heritages closer to the public through a creative blend of traditional and modern elements, with nearly a million reaches on social media.

With the theme "Heritage-Connection-Time," the festival features more than 30 programs and activities held across some of Hanoi's most iconic sites and cultural spaces, including the Hanoi Museum, Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. 

It aimed to reinvigorate Hanoi's creative spirit and reaffirms the capital city's vision to become a hub for preserving and promoting global heritage values. 

Festival director Pham Hoang Giang, said, “Despite challenges, the first edition of the festival was considered a success by visitors who came to Hanoi in the the past few weeks. Hanoi's beauty in autumn certainly added the momentum. This result was very encouraging to us as the creative team behind the festival and we will do everything we have learnt so far to hold an even better second edition."
