(VOVworld) – The 6th Culture, Sports, and Tourism Festival of the Khmer wrapped up in Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang province on Saturday. The 3-day festival attracted thousands of Khmer people from 12 southern provinces and cities to Hau Giang province to enjoy various activities such as a trade fair, an exhibition, a food festival, an ethnic costume show, and folk games competition.

Vo Van Tanh, Director of the Hau Giang provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “We organized all competitions, performances, and sport games in Vi Thanh city to make it convenient for the athletes and visitors to attend all the events. Several activities were held continuously and the public appreciated the festival very much.”

Bac Lieu province is scheduled to host the next Khmer culture, sports, and tourism festival in 2017.
