(VOVworld) – The Politburo today/ on Friday worked with Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee on the implementation of Resolution 20. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong stressed Ho Chi Minh city is not only a major economic, cultural, educational, science and technology center but also a driving force for national development.

Mr. Trong and the Politburo agreed on a new resolution on future plans and tasks to develop Ho Chi Minh city until 2020 based on 11^th Party Resolution, strategy for national development and recent Party’s Resolution No4: "Firstly, it is necessary to promote administrative reform and successfully implement Party Resolution on Party building with main focus on personal planning, fighting against moral degradation. We need to promote mass mobilization, democracy at grassroot level and resolving people’s complaints".
