(VOVworld) – The Republic of Korea reported on Saturday 3 more death, bringing the death toll from an outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) to 14. Twelve new infected patients brought to 138 the total number of confirmed cases. The Health Ministry said that the latest fatality was a 67-year-old woman who contracted the MERS from an existing patient at a hospital in Pyeongtaek City by the end of last month. The fatalities included two men, one was 73 and the other was 78.
