There will be enough masks for coronavirus: Ministry of Industry and Trade
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is capable of producing enough masks for domestic use to prevent the new coronavirus.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade made the statement on Monday as Vietnam has confirmed its 8th case of infection since the virus spread from China’s Wuhan city in December.
“There are 40 mask producers in Vietnam with a combined capacity of 1.3 million pieces per day. We are working with the Health Ministry to boost production to meet rising demand and will severely punish those who would take advantage of the situation,” said Deputy Minister Dang Hoang An.
Vietnam’s post service has halted the delivery of masks and disinfectants overseas to focus on domestic consumption.
