Trade and industry sector urged to speed up FTA negotiations
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged the industry and trade sector to be more active in negotiations of Free Trade Agreements.

Speaking at Friday’s conference to introduce the sector’s major tasks in 2014, Mr. Dung underlined the need to improve communications to help local leaders and citizens better understand the trade agreements Vietnam has signed.
"The Ministry of Industry and Trade should effectively exploit signed bilateral and multilateral Free Trade Agreements in order to boost exports. We have to support the negotiations of another 6 agreements. Businesses and associations should be active in expanding export market." Mr Dung said.
The trade and industry sector will focus on policies to promote commodity trademarks and supportive industry.
