Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, underlined contributions of the elderly to national development. She said taking care of the elderly is the responsibility of the whole society: “I call on administrations at all levels, organizations, and individuals to raise the sense of responsibility and join the efforts of the Party and State to take better care of the elderly, promote their role, unite them, and protect their legitimate rights. The whole country is mobilized to ensure that the elderly live a healthy and happy life.”
