Turkey arrests 55 IS suspects
(VOVWORLD) - At least 55 people have been arrested for suspected links to the Islamic State during counterterrorism operations in Turkey.

National news agency Anadolu reported that anti-terror squads conducted simultaneous operations on Thursday at 12 locations in seven districts of Istanbul, apprehending 45 foreigners who were allegedly planning to carry out an attack. A number of documents relating to IS were seized.
The same day Izmir city Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 11 suspects accused of supporting IS. Ten of them have been captured.
