Two more COVID-19 infections reported in Hanoi

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health announced two more cases of COVID-19 on Monday morning, bringing Vietnam’s total to 262, of which 144 have fully recovered and been discharged from hospital.

Both new patients live in Ha Loi village in Hanoi’s Me Linh district, a flashpoint for the highly contagious coronavirus.

The two new cases were the 9th and 10th in Ha Loi village. Both are now undergoing treatment at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Hanoi’s Dong Anh District.

Ha Loi village’s 11,000 residents have placed under lockdown since last Tuesday after three villagers contracted the virus.
