Ukrainian President impressed with Vietnam's achievements
(VOVWORLD) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has praised Vietnam's achievements in its renewal process, economic development, international integration, and improvement of people's welfare.

During a recent reception held for Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Hong Thach who came to present his credentials, President Zelensky conveyed his invitation to Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong to visit Ukraine in August in the lead up to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The Ukrainian leader also expressed his delight at the development of bilateral friendship and co-operation and thanked Vietnam for helping Ukraine with medical supplies during the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). He added that he is keen to ramp up bilateral co-operation in various fields, especially in vaccine production, trade, and culture.
President Zelensky wished Ambassador Thach a successful term and hopes that he will contribute to bilateral ties .
