The project will run to the end of 2016 to help Vietnam realize the targets set out in the 11th Party Central Committee resolution on social policies from 2012 to 2020. In 2014, the project will define shortcomings in identifying beneficiaries, the amount of allowance, and the financial mechanism. It will also improve the transparency and effectiveness of social assistance services and develop a policy renewal roadmap in Vietnam.
