Speaking at the Sustainable Development Summit at the UN’s headquarters in New York on Sunday, he called for the combating of corruption and illicit finance, and promoting civil society groups.
On Friday, world leaders at the summit adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and tackle climate change by 2030.
