US company donates medical equipment to Ho Chi Minh City Emergency Center

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam Fatherland Front in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and Intel Products Vietnam Company presented an ambulance and medical equipment worth 95,000 USD to the 115 Emergency Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the ceremony, To Thi Bich Chau, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, thanked the US American Chamber of Commerce for joining hands with Ho Chi Minh City in COVID-19 response. She applauded the cooperation in healthcare between the US and Vietnam, highlighting the role of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Agency for International Development.

On behalf of the US Consulate General, Amy Bailey, Deputy Director of the CDC Office in Ho Chi Minh City, praised Vietnam for its success in fighting COVID-19 and said the US wants to forge closer ties with Vietnam.
