US Deputy Secretary of State to visit China next week
(VOVWORLD) - US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will begin a 2-day visit to China on Sunday, the State Department said Wednesday.

Ms. Sherman will become the highest-level diplomat to visit China since bilateral ties turned tense due to trade conflicts. She is scheduled to meet with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Sherman’s China visit will follow visits to Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia, as part of her second trip to Asia in less than two months.
