US may hold new trade talks with China
(VOVWORLD) - US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s administration is ready to hold new talks with China if both sides can make progress from previous talks.

Mr. Mnuchin told reporters that President Trump is being careful about exempting tariffs on Chinese goods in order to protect American customers and businesses. He said the US wants to protect its farmers and is ready to hold new talks if China is willing to continue based on previous negotiating results.
