US pledges full financial commitments to WHO
(VOVWORLD) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday that the US will provide 200 million USD to the World Health Organization by the end of the month.

The move reaffirms the new US administration’s commitment to global health and reverses former President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the WHO. Mr. Blinken said Washington wants to make sure that the WHO has the support it needs in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
