US Vice President makes surprise trip to Iraq
(VOVWORLD) - US Vice President Mike Pence made an unannounced trip to Iraq on Saturday to visit the US troops ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pence visited Al Asad Air Base, West of Iraq. This visit took place exactly one year after President Donald Trump had visited this base. However, during his stay in Iraq, Pence did not meet in person with any Iraqi leader.
