US-China trade drops sharply
(VOVWORLD) - China's foreign trade has maintained stable growth despite a sharp fall in China’s trade with the US, according to China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC).
At a press conference on Monday, GAC spokesperson Li Kuiwen said trade between China and the US declined 10% to 39 billion USD in the past 9 months but its trade with the EU and ASEAN soared dramatically to more than 500 billion USD and nearly 450 billion USD respectively.
