(VOVworld) – On Sunday, President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan attended the national great unity day in Hoa Lac A commune, Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province.

Mr. Nhan spoke highly of Hoa Lac A commune’s achievement in poverty reduction. He stressed in order to escape from poverty, it was essential to renew methods and mutually support in production. He added the cooperative models will help reduce production cost, transfer technology and boost product consumption. Mr. Nhan asked the local authorities to work out action plan to encourage poverty reduction and cultural lifestyle in the area.
