(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held in Lao Cai province on Friday to mark the 85^th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF). On this occasion, VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan presented the Labour Order, first class, to the provincial VFF Committee and Nguyen Van Vinh, Secretary of Lao Cai provincial Party Committee. Mr. Nhan hailed Lao Cai’s activities to promote national great unity, boost local economic development, and support local disadvantaged areas. He praised the local people who volunteered their land, labour, and money to upgrade the local infrastructure and better implement a national new rural development program.
