Vice President meets representatives of Vietnamese community in Switzerland
(VOVWORLD) -Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has praised the role and activities of the Vietnamese community in Switzerland, saying these will help consolidate their unity and mutual support for stability and development there.

On Friday in Bern on the sidelines of 2019 Global Summit of Women, Vice President Thinh met with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy, the Vietnamese permanent delegation to the UN, members of the Executive Committee of the Switzerland-Vietnam Friendship Association, and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Switzerland. She reiterated the Party and State’s policy of considering overseas Vietnamese an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation and an important recourse for national development and prosperity. The Vice President called on the Vietnamese community in Switzerland to continue promoting their unity, law obedience, and activities to support themselves and the homeland.
